Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical technology.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of UL 891, UL 508A, IEEE/ANSI, NEC/NFPA 70E standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee designs for low and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, and control panels.
• Evaluate drawings and specifications to meet customer requirements.
• Design electrical enclosures meeting safety standards (UL/ANSI/IEEE).
• Develop test plans for product validation and certification.
• Work with 3rd party labs to test and analyze data.
• Act as team lead with other Mavericks and outside engineering firms.
• Determine deliverable due dates and hold to the schedule.
• Lead interaction with other functions and locations to determine optimum product/process solutions.
• Develop engineering solutions for custom low-voltage switchboards, switchgear, panelboards, and medium-voltage switchgear.
