Job summary

SLB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support innovative and cost-effective development and sustaining activities. The role involves planning and executing approaches to meet project objectives, building prototypes, running lab simulations, and presenting results to customers.

You will analyze designs, perform tests, develop technical reports and participate in formal reviews, while keeping up to date with new concepts and markets.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, conduct and evaluate approaches to meeting project objectives.
• Prototyping, modeling and testing diverse products and systems.
• Strong documentation, reporting and customer presentation skills.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technicians as needed.
• Perform technical reviews and contribute to design standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements; apply usability principles.
• Analyze, design, develop and maintain products and assist in commercialization.
• Build prototypes, run lab simulations, design tests and document results.
• Produce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions.
• Conduct technical reviews of requirements, designs and artifacts; support reuse.
