Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of electro-mechanical products throughout the full lifecycle. The role involves concept, prototyping, production support, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mechanical design, GD&T, BOM management, and experience in a manufacturing environment. Onsite in Massachusetts; no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in product design or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD and GD&T.
• Experience with BOMs, ECOs, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply GD&T principles and engineering drawing standards.
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for manufactured products.
• Develop prototypes, perform testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to meet performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing design improvements.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and related documents.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
