PrimeBridge Workforce is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for an established manufacturing organization in Fitchburg, MA. The role focuses on designing and developing electro-mechanical products from concept through prototyping and production.

The candidate will create CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications, and apply GD&T standards while coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize processes and costs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering or product design experience.
• Strong proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electro-mechanical products.
• Create and update 2D/3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Build prototypes, conduct testing, analyze results, and improve product designs.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to engineering drawings.
• Select materials and components based on performance, durability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Maintain BOMs, ECOs, and technical documentation.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve production and design issues.
• Support tooling, fixtures, design improvements, and manufacturing optimization.
