QTS Data Centers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support on-site generation infrastructure across its data centers. You will collaborate with vendors, EPC partners, and operations leaders to design, procure, and commission power generation systems.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree, FE/EIT, and at least 5 years in power generation engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and related analysis tools. Some travel to project sites (up to 25%) is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• FE and/or EIT registration required.
• Minimum 5 years in Power Generation Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, BIM/Revit).
• Strong knowledge of gas turbines, SCR systems, air compression, water treatment.
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, API, PIP, NACE, NFPA codes.

Responsabilidades

• Support design, construction, installation, and commissioning of power generation equipment.
• Contribute to vetting and analysis of power generation systems.
• Assist permitting, feasibility, and due diligence workflows.
• Create technical slides, reports, and contract summaries for leadership.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in power generation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet timelines and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical training to junior engineers and field personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
