Job summary

Hargrove Epc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Concord, CA to perform complete mechanical design tasks under general supervision. You will develop piping material specifications, conduct stress analysis, and prepare calculations and drawings for construction.

The role includes field data gathering, startup support, and collaboration with vendors and other disciplines. This position requires 3+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience and a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design tasks under general supervision.
• Develop piping material specifications and procurement specs.
• Conduct stress analysis and piping system sizing and calculations.
• Produce conceptual layouts, preliminary designs and cost estimates.
• Assist drafting with drawings and resolve layout issues.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and conformance.
• Support field data gathering and on-site startup activities.
