Compensation: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00

Overview

The Mechanical Engineer PE I applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Apply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
  • Responsible for signing and sealing engineering documents.
  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems.
  • Improve and maintain current systems or create new projects.
  • Design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field, and manage projects.
  • Apply engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
  • Perform work under general supervision.
  • Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer License (PE)
  • 4-6 years of experience

  • Physical/Work Environment Requirements: ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles; climbing stairs; moving self in different positions; working in tight and confined spaces; repeating motions; operating machinery and power tools; outdoor elements; noisy environment; light to heavy work including lifting 20-100 pounds
