Job Title: Mechanical Engineer PE I
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Overview

The Mechanical Engineer PE I applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Sign and seal engineering documents.
  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems.
  • Improve and maintain current systems or create new projects.
  • Design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field, and manage projects.
  • Apply engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
  • Perform work under general supervision.
  • Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Travel 5-10% of the time to job site(s) or office location.
  • Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
  • Climb stairs, move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Operate machinery and power tools.
  • Work outdoors in elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and wind.
  • Work in noisy environments.
  • Perform light to heavy work, including adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE).
  • 4-6 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant subject matter.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Mathematic and computer skills.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
