Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer for on-site Advisory and Assistance Services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. You will design and supervise HVAC, plumbing, energy, and utility systems for Navy facilities, ensuring DoD/Navy compliance and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes safe, sustainable, and efficient systems, with opportunities to contribute to MILCON and complex government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Strong command of mechanical engineering principles and design standards.
• Familiarity with ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IMC, IPC, and IBC codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, drawings, specs, and cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, energy systems, controls, and utilities.
• Support major government facility projects (including MILCON) to meet DoD/Navy specs.
• Deliver mechanical engineering services for renewable energy, power distribution, and process piping.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and DoD/Navy requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other disciplines to integrate systems.
