Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide on-site support to NAVFAC SE at NAS Jacksonville, FL. You will design electrical systems for facilities, including power, lighting, and security, and ensure DoD/Navy compliance.

The role requires a ABET-accredited degree and 5+ years of federal project experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, SKM/AGi32, and NFPA 70. On-site work in Jacksonville, full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology degree.
5+ years in electrical design for facilities; includes Federal/Capital Improvement projects.
5+ years professional electrical facilities design for new construction.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Knowledge of NFPA 70, IEEE C2, IBC, and DoD/Navy specs.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical analyses and designs for power systems, lighting, comms and safety.
Develop plans and cost estimates using AutoCAD for design-build projects.
Site visits to establish design requirements and ensure code compliance.
Support construction QA, witness testing, and troubleshoot issues during commissioning.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure system integration.
