Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide on-site support for NAVFAC Southeast at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role spans design through maintenance for Navy and Marine Corps facilities.

You’ll work on MILCON and renovation projects, ensuring code compliance and advising on electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, and life-safety. Strong communication and hands-on design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional, code-compliant electrical facilities design experience for new construction and renovations.
• Expert knowledge of NEC NFPA 70, IEEE C2, the IBC, and DoD/Navy guide specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit and electrical design software; strong communication skills.
• ABET-accredited EE degree; PE registration desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent electrical engineering support for MILCON, demolition, renovation, and maintenance projects.
• Apply advanced concepts to complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Support new construction and renovation of administration, industrial, research, and living facilities.
• Design lighting, power distribution, telecom, security, grounding, and life-safety systems.
• Plan site electrical distribution including medium-voltage gear and transformers.
• Review design submittals for code compliance and assist commissioning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system coordination and integration.
