Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide in-service engineering and technical support for HM&E systems aboard Navy ships.

Responsibilities include life cycle management, data management, tests, and coordination for MACHALTs and SCDs, with a focus on Auxiliary Machinery Systems Division. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in Navy ship auxiliary systems, and an active DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required.
• 3+ years of experience with Navy ship auxiliary systems (AC/R, HES-C, Auxiliary Fuel, Lube Oil, Pumps, Smart Valves).
• Experience with distributed machinery in Navy ship auxiliary systems.
• Experience with control systems and testing of Navy ship auxiliary systems.
• Familiarity with NSWCPD SEP, MACHALTs, engineering change proposals, and ship change documents (SCDs).
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (≥30 lbs) and work in shipyards, ladders, and confined spaces.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-service engineering for AC/R, Auxiliary, Combat Support, Life Support and Ventilation, and/or Compressed Air Systems.
• Provide engineering support, test procedure development, testing, and onsite coordination for MACHALTs, ECPs, and SCDs.
• Review preliminary and detail designs, identify discrepancies between install drawings and vessel configuration.
• Provide ship system configuration, testing, training, support, troubleshooting, and assessments of HM&E systems.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation ship checks to verify installation drawings.
• Support NSWCPD System Engineering Program (SEP) activities and related tools/processes.
