Job summary

Green Expert Technology (GreenXT) seeks a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Gas Turbine for Navy support. You will provide engineering support, publish directives, and develop program reports within the Naval environment.

The role emphasizes technical documentation, SCD development, and integrated logistics support across turbine systems, with a focus on meeting Navy standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance or ability to obtain it.
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–6 years as lead Marine Gas Turbine Engineer.
• Experience supporting Marine Gas Turbine projects, initiatives, systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of military specifications and Navy technical documentation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for gas turbine engines and publish technical directives.
• Prepare project and program presentations, attend reviews, and manage schedules.
• Develop Fleet Quarterly Marine Gas Turbine Program Reports.
• Maintain Ship Change Document (SCD) documentation and Navy Data Environment (NDE) archives.
• Create instructions, drawings, and procedures for SCD development.
• Deliver integrated logistics support including RCM, configuration management, provisioning, and metrics.
