GTI Fabrication is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical systems for modular infrastructure projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to create manufacturable designs, detailed drawings, equipment layouts, and production documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience designing fabricated structures or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design: design structural frames, enclosures, weldments, sheet metal assemblies, and equipment layouts.
• Engineering Documentation & Analysis: create fabrication drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation; perform sizing and tolerance analysis.
• Manufacturing Support: apply Design for Manufacturing principles to improve quality and production efficiency; resolve fit/tolerance/assembly issues; support engineering changes.
