Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex modular infrastructure systems from concept to production. You will drive mechanical system design, perform validations, and provide technical leadership across engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams.

The role requires 8+ years in mechanical engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong proficiency with SolidWorks. Up to 10% travel may be involved. Based in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience owning complex mechanical systems from concept through production.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of structural frames, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies.
• Define design approaches for reliability, manufacturability, and transport.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, thermal, fluid, and control systems.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
• Support manufacturing to resolve production issues and improve design quality.
