Job summary

GTI seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and technical execution of modular infrastructure projects in Phoenix, AZ. This role owns electrical system architecture from concept through production with leadership across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and product development.

Up to 10% travel is possible. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical engineering, experience with industrial power systems, and a track record of producing production-ready electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience designing industrial electrical systems or power infrastructure.
• Experience developing electrical schematics and production documentation.
• Experience performing electrical calculations supporting industrial power systems.
• Experience leading technical engineering activities across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems supporting modular infrastructure and industrial power systems.
• Develop electrical architectures, single‑line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Integrate generators, switchgear, transformers, batteries, UPS systems, PLCs, instrumentation, protection devices, and monitoring systems.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, controls, and project teams.
• Perform and review electrical calculations supporting power distribution, equipment sizing, protection, grounding, and system performance.
• Develop production‑ready electrical documentation supporting manufacturing, testing, and integration.
• Support compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, UL requirements, and customer specifications.
• Lead engineering design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers.
