Job summary

Short-notice travel may be required, with hands-on production floor support to ensure build quality. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, sales, management, and plant personnel to meet project goals

Qualifications

• 3 years mechanical or hydraulic design experience.
• Experience with industrial or marine filtration systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer purchase specifications and ensure compliance.
• Develop design concepts and product specifications within budget.
• Coordinate design efforts with designers and engineers.
• Create or supervise 3D models and drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations for projects.
• Prepare detailed assembly drawings when needed.
• Consult with management on project issues.
• Specify purchased components and interface with vendors.
• Communicate project requirements across operations.
• Prepare proposals with estimated engineering effort.
• Participate in design reviews and project activities.
• Direct checking of drawings for project use.
• Provide hands-on support on the production floor.
