Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead development of electro-mechanical motion control devices with sub-micron precision. You will design precision motion stages in 3D CAD, generate models and drawings, and perform analysis and studies under supervision.

You will assist with prototyping and production builds, document design packages, and communicate progress to your supervisor. Strong Mechatronics background and SolidWorks experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience applied to mechatronics systems or related education.
• Experience with linear/rotary electro-mechanical actuator design.

Responsibilities

• Design precision motion stages in 3D CAD, generating models and drawings.
• Perform analysis, simulation, and studies as directed.
• Prototype and support production builds.
• Document design packages and report progress to supervisor.
