Energy Jobline ZR in Mentor, OH seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive projects from design to startup, optimize machine set-ups, and implement tooling and processes. The role requires 3–5 years of engineering experience and strong solid modeling/drafting skills, with Autodesk Inventor preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with solid modeling and drafting; Autodesk Inventor experience strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years engineering work experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects from inception to completion including design, procurement of parts, construction, programming and startup.
• Troubleshoot for production involving hydraulics, electrics, and PLC logic.
• Implement manufacturing engineering tools and processes.
• Design, build, procure, and place into service mechanical components and systems to repair, update, or enhance machine performance, reliability, and safety.
• Assist in building machines and systems and provide manual labor when needed.
• Participate in selecting, procuring, and installing equipment.
• Learn to operate existing machines to become familiar with their operation.
• Familiarize with products manufactured by production machinery and their specifications.
• Carry out projects and duties commensurate with skill; uphold safe practices; seek assistance when unsure.
• May be assigned other work to support production and engineering.
• Year 1: learning and optimizing machine set-ups in the shop; longer if needed.
