Job summary

P2S in Long Beach, Irvine, San Diego, and Seattle is offering a Summer Internship for Electrical Engineering students. You will join the Electrical Engineering team, gain hands-on experience on real client projects, and participate in site visits and internal training.

The 10-12 week program starts in June and ends August–September, with in-office work Monday to Friday. Interns assist with project support, design and prototyping, testing, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration, under

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Create and modify engineering drawings during design and prototyping.
• Assist in conducting tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Schedule: In Office M-F Hourly: $24.00 Undergraduate / $26.00 Graduate Level: Intern Location: Long Beach, CA, Irvine, CA, San Diego, CA, and Seattle, WA

Internship Program

The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level. Interns will be part of the Electrical Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings and actively contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.

Schedule

The Summer Internship lasts 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the candidate's availability.

Responsibilities

Project Support

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Design and Prototyping

• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of engineering solutions.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential issues.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress.

Collaboration

Requirements
