Job summary

CRB invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) in Dallas, TX. This full-time internship offers exposure to integrated architecture, engineering, and construction practices across pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, and industrial projects.

You will work under an assigned mentor to develop deliverables, support conceptual designs, and coordinate with diverse teams including vendors, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in HVAC systems strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble), preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documents (calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Assist with development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under direction of the project team lead.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and internal/external team members (vendors, clients, contractors).

How will I contribute?

Youwill work under the direction of an assigned mentor to develop and implement project deliverables. Project sizes will vary, and will consist primarily of pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, or industrial process projects including both existing building renovations/retrofits and new construction.
