MAPEI is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our West Chicago manufacturing facility. You will work with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams on projects, gains hands-on experience, and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include supporting equipment and facility systems, updating drawings and specs, analyzing data, and preparing deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (juniors and seniors preferred).
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Support engineering projects involving manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Develop/update equipment drawings, specifications, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Collect, organize, and analyze equipment and process-performance data.
• Prepare project plans, reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Support preventive maintenance, reliability, safety, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
