Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a mechanical engineering support to join the existing team in Saddle Brook, NJ. The role involves completing drawing/documentation projects in compliance with ISO procedures and contributing to design concepts in Inventor, then converting to 2D drawings as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting design and test data per ISO-9001, planning project schedules and cost estimates, and executing design and development tasks in line with department procedures.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with drafting and design skills.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Team member of the mechanical group.
• Complete documentation projects such as drawing replication.
• Generate 3D design concepts in Inventor and convert to 2D drawings.
• Document design, testing, and project data per ISO-9001 and dept procedures.
• Prepare project schedules and cost estimates and deliver on time and within budget.
• Plan and execute design and development projects per procedures and business needs.
• Design for Hazardous Areas, Design for Testing, Design for Manufacturing.
