Job summary

TEEMA seeks a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join a growing team supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. This role offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and exposure to retail, office, higher education, aviation, and other facilities.

You will design and support HVAC and plumbing systems, size equipment, perform calculations, and prepare drawings using Revit and Bluebeam. Remote with travel is possible for site visits and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in commercial building projects.
• Hands-on Revit experience required; Bluebeam experience highly preferred.
• HVAC and plumbing design experience.
• FE/EIT certification preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and client-service skills.
• Remote candidates may be considered if travel 1–3 days per month for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Design and support HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial building projects.
• Work with equipment such as air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, and compressors.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, and technical documentation.
• Develop and coordinate designs using Revit and Bluebeam.
• Support construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and construction administration.
• Participate in site visits and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
