Job summary

Consulting Engineering Services (CES) in Bozeman, MT is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to design and layout mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection. The role involves drafting with AutoCAD and Revit and coordinating with architects during design and construction.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in mechanical engineering and 0–3 years of experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on several projects.

Qualifications

• Designs portions of a project using engineering formulas and skills for ensuring safety and technical accuracy.
• Writes specifications for completed design.
• Performs on-site investigations and surveys prior to design.
• Coordinates contract documents between engineering disciplines for architects.

We currently have an opening in our Bozeman, MT office for a full-time Mechanical Engineer.

This individual will be responsible for the design and layout of mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection.

Essential Functions

• Designs portions of a project using engineering formulas and skills for ensuring safety and technical accuracy.

• Performs his or her own drafting/design using AutoCAD and/or Revit and reviews own work for accuracy.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering preferred with 0 to 3 year of job related experience.
• Must be able to use AutoCAD and Revit, for drafting and design to complete a project.
• Strong oral and writing skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
