Job summary

You will translate customer requirements into robust solutions while balancing schedule and cost constraints, taking designs from concept through test in a collaborative, multi-project environment. Applicants should have a BS or MS in engineering with the required years, be able to work onsite, and possess exceptional

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years; senior: BS with 8, MS 6, or PhD 4.
• Proficiency with common engineering design, production, analysis and office tools.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Annapolis, MD.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance, TS/SCI with poly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development and technical planning for undersea hardware and systems.
• Translate requirements into system solutions balancing tech, schedule and cost.
• Carry mechanical designs from concept through detailed design, integration, and test.
• Apply design-for-manufacturing for small- to medium-volume production.
• Develop engineering processes, procedures and documentation for manufacturing.
• Analyze complex tech problems and drive them to resolution.
• Support hardware integration and testing and troubleshoot build/test issues.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate designs and status clearly.
