Job summary

ASD's Naval & Oceanic Systems unit in Annapolis, MD seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative team focused on undersea hardware design, integration and testing.

The role requires translating customer requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions, strong problem solving, and clear communication. On-site work in Annapolis with active TS/SCI CI poly and experience in NX/Teamcenter is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean Eng or related STEM with 5+ years exp, or MS with 3+ years.
• PhD with 4+ years experience is acceptable.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools and office software.
• On-site work at Annapolis, MD campus.
