Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer III to design, develop, and optimize advanced robotic actuator systems for humanoid, industrial, and service robots. You will drive new product development, procure prototype components, and validate manufacturing processes across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes performance, cost, and manufacturability, with responsibilities from concept through prototype to production readiness and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in mechanical product development or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC, injection molding, casting, heat treatment, and additive manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing prototype components from domestic and international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing solutions for prototypes, ensuring performance and manufacturability.
• Create and release drawings, BOMs, change documentation, and procurement packages.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies to improve quality and cost.
• Support DFM, DFA, DFR, APQP and product development for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate prototype builds, validate assemblies, and manage design iterations with teams.
• Research actuator technologies and materials to drive product innovation.
