Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 for our Advanced Facilities Group in Atlanta. You will perform mechanical, electrical and field construction activities, develop budget estimates, and participate in bid analysis to support project goals.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and quality plans, and collaboration with designers, subcontractors and clients on large industrial, data center and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction/engineering experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates based upon program and schematic design information.
• Reviews mechanical and electrical options, completes systems analysis, provides value engineering suggestions.
• Coordinates the mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bid process.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
