Job summary

Dexcom in San Diego is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Mechanical Engineering Product Development team, contributing to test design, fixture development, and characterization of wearable devices.

You will define characterization strategies, analyze data with JMP or Minitab, collaborate with process development, design verification, packaging, sterilization and operations, and communicate results to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; 2–5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 0–2 years’ experience.
• Experience with test development, fixture design, protocols, and measurement methods.
• Proven ability to analyze data and translate requirements into test methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and execution of novel test methods for device wearables.
• Define broad characterization strategies and test plans across product lifecycles.
• Perform data analysis to drive data-based decisions and readouts.
