Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years’ experience with mechanical design ownership from concept to production.
• Strong GD&T, DFM knowledge and best practices for mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on with rapid prototyping and production processes (CNC, molding, sheet metal).
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries preferred (medical devices).

Responsibilities

• Support subsystem design and continuous improvement of Myomo’s robotic exoskeletons.
• Contribute to mechanical and electromechanical subsystems from concept to production.
• Develop CAD assemblies and drawings in SolidWorks for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes and assess manufacturability across processes.
• Work with electrical & controls engineers on high-performance sensing systems.
• Assist in prototype construction and evaluate performance using tests and analysis.
• Perform drafting, tolerancing, and DFM for low-mid volume manufacture.
