Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent engineering required.
• 2–5 years of turbomachinery experience required.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Research, develop, and design micro-turbines and hybrid-generator sets
• Mechanical analysis of static and rotating hardware of metallic or composite construction
• Utilize Siemens Teamcenter and NX for modeling and drafting, adhering to ASME Y14.5
• Set up and conduct analysis using ANSYS or similar codes including elastic/elastic-plastic, blade/vane dynamics, rotor-dynamics, heat transfer
• Iterate design concepts with focus on cost reduction and value
• Work on customer-funded or internal projects and draft proposals
• Project management tasks for production engine systems
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, assembly, testing, and field service teams
• Advise senior management on solutions to problems
