Job summary

Voyager Technologies in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our defense, national security and space technology team, where you will work on integration, design, analysis and testing for complex systems.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of mechanical engineering experience, a BS in engineering, willingness to travel ~10%, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an MS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant field from an accredited university; equivalence considered.
• Willingness to travel ~10% of the time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Integrate components and subsystems; data acquisition and analysis.
• Set up and operate measurement instruments; develop test plans with risk assessments.
• Design actuators and assess performance; contribute to rocket motor system design.
• Produce detailed CAD drawings and technical reports; support GD&T.
• Apply CFD/structural/thermal analyses and aid manufacturing improvements.
• Lead small project tasks and procurement-related activities.
