Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for Product Development Engineering to design Gas Filter, Diffuser and Purifier products. The role involves conceiving and developing prototypes, coordinating with R&D and Operations, and working across domestic and international resources to move concepts from prototype to production.

Preferred candidates hold a BS (or MS) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, with 1–3 years of experience, and hands-on experience with tooling, SolidWorks, and

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field a plus.
• Ability to design, fabricate, and qualify tooling and equipment for testing and production.
• Hands-on experience with machine shop tools and processes is a plus.
• Experience with CFD/FEA is a plus.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII or similar pressure vessel codes is a plus.
• Experience with stage-gate development and NPI processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects related to technology development and new product introduction for prototype components.
• Conceptualize, design, and develop prototypes with emphasis on high-purity processes.
• Characterize and test new products to meet specifications.
• Design, build, and qualify lab equipment, fixtures and tooling.
• Create and maintain drawings, SOPs, test procedures, and data.
• Perform testing and development tasks as needed.
• Assist in root cause analysis on product quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement with manufacturing.
