Qualifications

One year as a Mechanical Engineer 1 or two years of professional mechanical engineering experience with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
Two years of professional mechanical engineering experience with HVAC, plumbing, or related systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass NCIC screening.

Responsibilities

System Design: develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs for renovations and construction, including existing systems analysis.
Design Review: evaluate drawings, reports, calculations, and cost estimates for technical accuracy and cost efficiency.
CAD Development: use CAD software to prepare construction drawings, schedules, and specs for mechanical systems.
Technical Assistance: provide guidance on mechanical systems, equipment selection, and innovative engineering solutions.
Project Evaluation: conduct site assessments, develop scopes of work, and identify engineering requirements for proposed projects.
