PAE is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop designs and documentation for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with task-based support and modeling under senior guidance. You will perform mechanical calculations and energy simulations, assist with construction administration, and collaborate with project leads to deliver compliant, efficient systems.

This role emphasizes building codes, standards compliance, and clear communication with design teams, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; EIT certification preferred or obtainable.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system designs, models, and documentation for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection projects.
• Provide task-based support and assist with construction administration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and energy/thermal simulations under guidance of project leads.
