Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to join our Seattle office. You will design and document energy-efficient HVAC building systems for sophisticated facilities, collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver impactful projects.

Required: BSAE/BSME, 3+ years of HVAC design, and PE licensure or eligibility. Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is preferred, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-centered engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years' experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in engineering design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
• Interpret basis of design and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver HVAC solutions for complex facilities.
• Support delivery of energy-efficient, sustainable building systems and client outcomes.
