Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for our Washington, D.C. office to design energy-efficient HVAC systems for technically sophisticated facilities.

You will apply independent judgment from concept to detailed design, using basis of design information and input from users and partners. The role requires a BSAE or BSME, 3+ years of HVAC design experience, and a PE license or licensure path; proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is preferred, along with

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME from an accredited program.
• 3+ years of HVAC building systems design experience in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience using engineering design programs such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
