Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Mechanical Engineer II in our San Diego office to advance energy-efficient building solutions and help clients meet ambitious sustainability goals.

You will design HVAC systems for complex facilities, apply Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact projects that improve patient care, research and education environments.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

• Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
