Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Atlanta seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design energy-efficient building systems and advance sustainable projects across healthcare, science and technology sectors.

You will develop and document system designs from concept through basis of design, using information from users, partners, field surveys, and code research, with established leadership guiding projects.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
• Interpret information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
• Collaborate with teammates and project partners across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a collaborative environment.
