Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working in a similar role.
• Experience designing components and simple assemblies using CAD software.
• Knowledge of product development processes including prototyping, validation, and manufacturing support.
• Experience creating mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with testing, fixture design, and validation activities.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, or troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Ability to support senior engineers on complex projects and contribute to cross-functional development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Component and simple assembly design.
• Product development activities ranging from conceptual development, prototyping, and design validation to manufacturing and existing product support; individually and collaboratively.
• Collaboration with engineers of various disciplines to develop products with electromechanical and mechanical content.
• Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring.
• Conduct tests, design manufacturing fixtures, support senior colleagues.
• May include involvement in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products as required to accomplish company goals.
• Provide guidance to fellow team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
