Job summary

RAVE Aerospace GmbH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, and test mechanical components, contributing to product innovation, cost, schedule, and features. The role emphasizes CAD-based design and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

You will produce mechanical drawings and documentation to support prototyping, validation, and manufacturing, while guiding junior engineers and supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
• 3+ years in a similar mechanical engineering role.
• Experience designing components and simple assemblies with CAD software.
• Ability to create mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Component and simple assembly design.
• Product development from concept to manufacturing and support.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines on electromechanical products.
• Mechanical drafting and technical documentation.
• Conduct tests and design fixtures; support senior engineers.
• Provide guidance to team members.
