Job summary

RAVE Aerospace LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, and test mechanical components, contributing to product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature sets.

The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration, drafting, testing, fixture design, and hands-on fabrication activities to support both new and existing products. A Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years’ experience are required, with a 9/80 flexible schedule and strong team guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing components and simple assemblies using CAD software.
• Knowledge of product development processes including prototyping, validation, and manufacturing support.
• Experience creating mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with testing, fixture design, and validation activities.
• Hands-on fabrication, assembly, or troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Component and simple assembly design.
• Product development activities from conception to manufacturing and support.
• Collaboration with engineers to develop electromechanical products.
• Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring.
• Conduct tests and design manufacturing fixtures.
