Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a mid-level mechanical engineer to review customer requirements, design electromechanical components, and create engineering drawings.

You will provide production support and act as the technical point of contact for assigned design projects. The role emphasizes delivering quality engineering deliverables on schedule, collaborating with electrical and software engineers, and generating prototypes for testing and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years mechanical design required, preferably in aircraft cabin or similar systems.
• SolidWorks and 3D modeling in support of detail, assembly, and top-level drawings.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills; effective communication; self-motivated and a great team worker.
• Employee is expected to acquire necessary information and skills to perform the job within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Review customer technical requirements for assigned design.
• Communicate with electrical and software engineers to develop overall design.
• Assure compliance with DRM, project requirements, and design requirements.
• Develop mechanical and electromechanical products.
• Assure quality of engineering deliverables.
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
