We seek a Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years of project experience to design and document mechanical systems for mission-critical environments. Leveraging ASHRAE SMACNA standards and BIM tools, you will contribute to HVAC and building infrastructure projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent.
• 2+ years of project-based experience.
• Strong application knowledge of ASHRAE Handbook and Standards.
• Working knowledge of SMACNA Technical Manuals and Standards.
• Preferred to have passed the fundamentals of Engineering test.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Design experience with governmental sites, data centers, and building infrastructure.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and should meet eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship for access to classified information.

Aufgaben

• Maintains design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Represents the Company in interactions with customers, contractors, suppliers and collaborates with project teams.
• Performs site survey, calculations, evaluations, equipment selection, system design, and layout for proposals and contracts.
• Develops sustainable designs for high performance systems for air and hydronic distribution, central plants, and building management.
• Produces construction drawings and specs aligned with contract requirements and standards.
• Addresses mechanical design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning issues.
• Develops system sequences of operations and compliance matrices.
• Participates in PITCO processes including system programming and integration testing.
• Develops mechanical project scope and discipline coordination.
• Supports project construction, startup, and commissioning.
• Participates in new product evaluations and recommendations.
• Travel up to 25% on short-term assignments as needed.
