Job summary

M.C. Dean is a leading provider of building intelligence, delivering cyber-physical solutions for mission-critical facilities and complex infrastructure. We seek a Mechanical Engineer to lead design, bid, and execution of mechanical systems in our facilities environment.

Responsibilities include design, load calculations, and coordination with contractors, ensuring codes and sustainability goals are met. Active Top Secret clearance is required to start, with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive mechanical design or facilities experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance to start; ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Must have passed the FE exam.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Design, bid, and execute mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing) for facilities.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and layouts.
• Prepare scopes of work, technical specs, and detailed bid packages.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, repair, or retrofit projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, field technicians, and stakeholders.
