Job summary

AutoStore is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to contribute to design, development, testing, and support of electrical systems enabling warehouse automation. You will work with seasoned engineers to deliver reliable hardware solutions and gain hands-on experience with automated systems and controls.

This role is ideal for an early-career engineer eager to learn, contribute to real-world projects, and develop expertise in industrial automation and robotics technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships, co-ops, projects).
• Fundamental electrical engineering principles and circuit design.
• Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams and documentation.
• Power distribution, sensors, motors, actuators, and industrial control systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
• CAD/electrical design tools like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Altium.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• US work authorization; visa not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and validation of electrical systems.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Support integration between electrical hardware, controls, and software platforms.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field engineering teams.
• Follow processes and improve product reliability, safety, and performance.
