Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I to support the Ravena Cement Plant's operation and maintenance. You will participate in a 14-month Build4Growth program for new graduate engineers, blending online learning, on-site sessions, and hands-on projects.

Key responsibilities include monitoring reliability systems, creating PMRs and BOMs, and driving root-cause analysis to improve MTBF. This role offers exposure to SAP PM and a path toward advanced reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• Required Work Experience: 0-3 years.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will work with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure operation.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Develop preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and BOMs for new equipment.
• Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography).
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate repetitive problems.
• Support improvements in MTBF and equipment availability.
• Coordinate SAP PMR optimization and development with maintenance planners.
• Provide technical training on reliability concepts to maintenance team.
