Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Detroit seeks a Mechanical Engineer I to help design energy-efficient building systems and advance healthcare, science, and technology projects.

You will work with seasoned engineers to develop solutions that improve client outcomes and sustainability. You will perform load calculations, sizing, field surveys, and equipment selection, while contributing to meetings, specifications, and construction-phase activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts.
• Calculate equipment sizes and select equipment.
• Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings.
• Lead mechanical project teams as you gain experience.
• Write specifications and participate in client/consultant meetings.
