Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Mechanical Senior Project Engineer in Detroit to lead energy-efficient building systems design. You will guide the design process, develop innovative solutions, and work with clients and partners to meet project goals.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in HVAC design for healthcare, research or higher education, with PE licensure and proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD or Navisworks. AEI offers a collaborative environment and experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or equivalent with applicable experience.
• 15+ years of HVAC design for research, healthcare or higher ed facilities.
• PE license required.
• Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall design process on assigned projects within a discipline.
• Develop innovative design solutions aligned with project and client needs.
• Provide team leadership and guidance to implement solutions.
• Maintain strong client and partner relationships throughout projects.
